Lisa Guerrero

Attorney at Law

Lisa Guerrero earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas in San Antonio and a Masters of Arts in Special Education from Our Lady of the Lake University. She served her community as a general education teacher for nine years and a special education teacher for thirteen years. After twenty-two years of teaching in the public-school system, she decided to shift from creating individual education plans for children to helping adults plan for their futures. In 2016 she graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She now enjoys providing proactive Estate Planning strategies to her clients. She also helps clients settle estates after a loved one passes away. Probate is not always necessary and good planning can help eliminate the need for Probate or at least reduce the number of assets that need to go through the Probate process. When Probate is necessary, she provides legal assistance and advice to help minimize cost and provide clients peace of mind during this difficult time in their life. She is thankful for the opportunity to continue in the role of a service provider to her community.
